What is International Women Online Journal of Distance Education–int.WOJDE?

International Women Online Journal of Distance Education (int.WOJDE) is a peer-reviewed quarterly e-journal. International in scope, this scholarly e-journal publishes refereed articles focusing on the issues and challenges of providing theory, research and information services to global learners in any kind of distance education or open learning applications. int.WOJDE will particularly strive to meet the continuing education needs of practitioners and educators by providing a forum for the discussion of extended learning strategies, policies and practices, and trends in information technology as they impact the delivery of student support services for distance learners and faculties.

Articles may be theoretical, philosophical and/or quantitative analyses of distance education/open learning and teaching issues, and may take the form of case studies, research studies or general interest reports. Sample topics include the role or history of distance education, standards for such services, organization or planning of new services, for distance learners, etc.

Book reviews, conference reports, literature reviews, news items, editors' notes, announcements of conferences and publications and letters to the editor are also welcomed. .

Goals of the International Women Online Journal of Distance Education–int.WOJDE

int.WOJDE is planning to extend its readership by reaching every part of the world. It will focus on by allocating much more space to contributors from developing and developed countries every corner of the world by sharing experiences on effective use of distance education in both formal and non-formal education fields.

By providing communication amongst educators, educational technologists and distance education experts and by providing opportunities to share new strategies and ideas about distance education.

Quality Articles int.WOJDE will try to provide not only quality articles to its readers, but will also try to meet readers' expectations.

Quality Journal Staff int.WOJDE will always value and prize those editors, reviewers and staff who have shown a willingness to provide quality publishing through their various levels of expertise.

Community Share Service int.WOJDE will endeavour to show the community its commitment by sharing to its overall betterment. By committing to the previous three values, meeting this fourth value becomes a matter of record. In bringing quality to the community this value is strategically met.
