Ownership

The International Women Online Journal of Distance Education (intWOJDE) is an independent, scholarly publication. The legal ownership of the journal belongs to Prof. Dr. Emine DEMİRAY, who is also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief. While the owner is academically affiliated with Anadolu University (Turkey), intWOJDE operates as an autonomous entity and is not officially affiliated with, owned by, or legally bound to any specific university or institution.

Management and Editorial Freedom

The journal is managed by the Editor-in-Chief in collaboration with the International Editorial Board. intWOJDE adheres strictly to the principle of editorial independence. All editorial decisions—including but not limited to the screening, peer review, acceptance, or rejection of manuscripts—are made solely by the editors and the board members based on academic merit and the journal’s scope. The owner does not interfere with the editorial decision-making process.

Financial Disclosure & Sponsorship

intWOJDE is a self-funded, non-profit academic initiative. The journal:

• Does not receive institutional sponsorship or government funding.
• Does not accept commercial advertising or corporate support.
• Does not charge authors any submission or article processing fees (APCs).

All operational costs (hosting, domain, digital preservation) are covered by the owner's personal resources and the voluntary contributions of the editorial team, driven by a mission to support open-access publishing.
