Open Access Statement

The International Women Online Journal of Distance Education (intWOJDE) is a fully Open Access journal. All content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative definition of open access.

intWOJDE provides immediate open access to its published content in support of the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Licensing

All articles published in intWOJDE are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work, even commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.

Article Processing Charges

intWOJDE does not charge any article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees. Publishing in intWOJDE is completely free of charge for authors at every stage of the editorial process.

Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their work — the submitted, accepted, and published version — in institutional or subject-based repositories, on personal websites, or in academic social networks, without embargo. When depositing, authors are asked to include full bibliographic information and a link to the published version on the journal website. The journal's archiving policy is registered with SHERPA RoMEO.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their work published in intWOJDE and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under the CC BY 4.0 license, which permits sharing and adaptation with appropriate attribution.
